Bin Boot Specifications
This poly feed bin boot is designed to fit a standard 16" bin opening using the standard hopper collar and holds the grain bin slide valve. It's also available in black or clear material and is made in a straight boot design as well.
- The Outside diameter at the top end is 17 1/8"
- The Inside diameter at the top is 16 3/8"
- Overall height is 12"
- Discharge end measures 6" x 10" inside and 6-1/2" x 10-3/4" outside

Poly Boot Attached to Feed Bin
The poly boot is held to the bottom of the bulk feed bin by the collar and connects to the slide valve below. This provides a transition from the round bottom opening of the bin, where the taper hopper sections come together, to the rectangular entrance to the auger unloader or the slide valve itself.

Grain Bin Boot Description
A grain bin boot is an integral component located at the bottom of a grain bin, serving as the transition point that connects the bin to the conveying system or chute for grain or feed. It often features an opening or chute for the controlled release of the material. On the other hand, the slide valve, typically situated at the bottom of the boot or along the conveying system, acts as a regulating mechanism. The slide valve can be manually or automatically operated to control the flow of grain, preventing overfilling or spillage. Together, the grain bin boot and slide valve play a crucial role in ensuring the controlled and efficient dispensing of grain, allowing operators to manage the flow rate for feeding or other purposes and preventing overloads of downstream equipment.

The boot measures 12" from top to bottom and allows for the control of the discharge of feed from the bin when used with a slide valve or auger unloader box.

The pictures below show the tape for the interior and exterior measurements across the top of the grain bin boot. The top attaches to the bottom of the bin and changes the round discharge to a rectangular shape, and allows the attachment of slide valves and augers.
