Hog Waterer Description
An 80-gallon hog waterer is a great water source for your biggest swine and your smallest pigs. Its two drinking stations provide access to stored water, with manual filling or optional automatic reservoir refill.
The waterer has a 35" diameter, and each of the separate drinking areas measures 18” wide and 17" tall. The trough lip height is 6" and each drinking station has its own drain plug to allow for quick cleaning and flushing.
The included internal float-and-valve assembly regulates the water level in both drinking areas and is protected from animal contact. The separate automatic reservoir refill valve is an optional accessory, sold separately.

HOG WATERER FEATURES
- The waterer is made with 100% non-porous polyethylene material - will not rust, rot, or corrode!
- Confinement pen acids do not affect the poly construction.
- The drain plug under each separate drinking area makes for easy cleaning.
- Small pigs and large hogs easily access either drinking area.
- The low, 6" trough height allows easy access to water for your smallest animals.
- There are two drinking areas, one on each side, that are 9" deep.
- Only one float is needed to regulate the water height on each side.
- The float is completely protected from the animals.
- Each drinking area lip is protected by a heavy-duty steel-plated guard.
- The side of the tank includes a visual gallon capacity calibration so you can see the remaining water level at a glance.
- The tank is filled manually through the removable lid or automatically with the optional water valve.
- An optional 250-watt trough heater is available. It heats the drinking trough area; do not assume it protects the entire reservoir, supply line, or valve from freezing.

Reservoir Filling and Optional Accessories
Capacity
The reservoir holds up to 80 gallons. How long that supply lasts depends on animal numbers, water consumption, weather, and refill frequency. Check water levels and drinking-area cleanliness regularly. The optional refill valve can replenish the reservoir from a compatible water supply, but does not establish an unlimited animal capacity or remove the need for daily checks.
Hog Waterer Automatic Water Valve

Use the molded gallon markings to monitor the reservoir. Fill through the removable lid or use the optional automatic refill valve according to its installation instructions. For cold-weather use, select compatible heating equipment for the areas requiring protection and follow the heater manufacturer's operating and electrical instructions.
The 35-inch-diameter tank weighs approximately 41 pounds empty. Before choosing a location, allow space for hogs to reach both drinking stations, access the removable lid, and use the drain plugs for cleaning.

Durable Construction
The non-porous polyethylene tank does not rust or rot. Drain plugs beneath the drinking areas allow washing and flushing. Inspect the body, chew guards, float assembly, and any connected accessories regularly, and follow the manufacturer's cleaning guidance.
The polyethylene body and steel-plated chew guards are designed for livestock use. Check for damage or worn components during routine maintenance.
The Drinkers
Designed to accommodate both small pigs and large hogs, the waterer features two drinking areas, each 9" deep, providing easy access for all sizes. The low, 6" trough height ensures even the smallest animals can effortlessly reach the water. The float mechanism, efficiently regulating water height on each side, is cleverly shielded from the animals, while heavy-duty steel-plated guards protect the drinking area lips.
Hog Waterer Review
As a hog farmer using multiple waterers, I couldn’t be more pleased. The 80-gallon capacity is just right for keeping my swine hydrated throughout the day without frequent refilling. The waterers are easy to fill and maintain, and the side-access design allows my pigs to drink comfortably. Their durability gives me peace of mind that they won't run out of water. You can see the water level through the side walls, too. It’s a reliable, hassle-free solution for maintaining the health and hydration of my swine. Highly recommend!
