Water Tank Heater
Make sure your livestock and horses always have access to clean water, even in the winter. This water trough heater is a sinker style and has a 1000-watt heater to help keep your water troughs and livestock water supplies from freezing in the winter. The powerful element on this heater will get warm, and it comes with a metal surround and legs to keep it from coming into direct contact with poly-walled tanks. Make sure it is seated properly and on its supports during installation to prevent it from touching any plastic surfaces.
It may be used with the Sioux Steel Hog Waterer as long as you ensure the heating element does not touch the poly walls or base.
It comes with a cage around the heating element so it can be set directly inside and at the bottom of the water reservoir.
