Galvanized Steel Feed Bin Construction
Hog Slat bulk feed bins use Grade 55 structural steel (55,000 PSI) with a G100 galvanized finish. Compare the capacity, fill height, and unloading configuration to select a bin for your feed storage needs.
Available diameters include 6, 7, 9, and 12 feet, with listed capacities from 3 to 47.5 tons. A retractable poly roof lid can be operated from the ground for filling.

Components and Optional Equipment
- Ladders and safety cages: Ladder kits are purchased separately. Hog Slat requires a ladder kit with a safety cage for bins with a fill height exceeding 25 feet. Confirm the required kit and all included components when requesting a quote.
- Weather Edge™: An extended 1-1/4-inch lip on the bottom sidewall sheet directs water away from the hopper and unloading boot.
- Bin collar: The stamped 16-inch collar uses 10-gauge metal. Confirm compatibility with the selected unloading equipment.
- Bottom cone sheets: The hopper forms the transition to the unloading system. Follow manufacturer guidance when selecting equipment for materials that may bridge or do not flow freely.
Warranty and Ordering
Hog Slat offers a five-year manufacturer's warranty on bulk feed bin tanks, subject to its terms and limitations. Confirm the warranty applicable to the selected product before ordering.
