Available in 60° and 67° slopes with a standard 16" hopper opening, Sioux Steel hopper panels are die-formed with rounded corners and down-turned sealing edges for safety and a weather-tight fit. Constructed using high tensile steel sidewall sheets with a G-90 commercial galvanized coating for outstanding strength and durability.
Feed Bin Description
These hopper-bottom bins store bulk feed and grain for farm and ranch use. Listed capacities are based on free-flowing material at 40 pounds per cubic foot, without compaction. Actual stored weight varies with material density. The bin walls use G-90 galvanized steel.
The roof is reinforced with structural ribbing that increases the strength at the seams. The lid itself is opened and closed from the ground level and measures 23-1/2" in diameter. The large size makes filling the bin easy.
Lower hopper wall sections are offset to promote the smooth flow of feed to the boot slide valve, the side-mounted slide valve, or an auger.
Add hopper seam stiffeners when storing high-fat, non-free-flowing, dense feeds. It comes standard on the large 9' diameter, which is 3 or more rows high. It is necessary to install an appropriate agitator in feed bins storing soybean meal, cottonseed meal, hot feeds, and other products that are not considered free-flowing material
All bulk feed bins include the following standard features: Ground control fill cap, roof panels, 2.66 corrugated sidewalls, and 16" hopper openings with collar.
Please note the bins ship with the 'roof style lid' shown on the bins on the left.
The flat cap (shown below) is available as a special order if desired.

Choose from 6-, 7-, and 9-foot diameters, with listed capacities from 2.76 to 24.46 U.S. tons. Compare diameter, row count, fill height, and weight in the capacity table before selecting a model.
These bulk feed bins have 2.66 corrugated sidewalls. Available hopper configurations include 60° and 67° slopes; confirm the slope and outlet configuration for the selected model.

Bulk Feed Storage and Daily Use
A bulk feed bin provides a central supply of feed for daily livestock feeding. Selecting capacity around feed use and delivery schedules can reduce the need for frequent replenishment. Check storage suitability for the intended material, especially feeds that do not flow freely.
