Poly bin slide valves, collars and unloaders
Manual Grain Flow Control for Poly Feed Bins
These slide valves attach to compatible poly grain bin collars and let you manually start, adjust or stop the release of grain beneath the hopper. Pull the slide outward to open the discharge and move it inward to reduce or stop flow. The slide itself provides the handhold for operation.
What Is Included
- Slide valve only: the white valve assembly shown in the installation photos.
- Collar sold separately: photos also show collars, bins and auger components to illustrate possible installations.
- No metal handle included: older photos show a metal handle that is no longer used.
- Travel stop: helps prevent the slide from pulling completely out of its frame.
- No locking mechanism: the valve does not lock shut.
Match the Valve to Your Collar
Select the slide valve designed for your horizontal, 30-degree or 45-degree collar. These valves are not interchangeable across the different collar configurations. Check your existing collar and mounting arrangement before ordering, especially when replacing a valve on an older bin.
The collar establishes the mounting angle beneath the bin. The valve controls grain flow, and a compatible auger boot or unloader can attach below it when mechanical unloading is required. An angled installation uses the matching collar and valve; the valve alone does not establish the auger's angle.
Horizontal Collar Setup
A horizontal collar and matching valve provide a discharge arrangement commonly used for filling buckets beneath the bin. Check the clearance beneath your installed valve against the container you intend to use.
30-Degree Collar Setup
A 30-degree collar positions the matching valve at an angle for manual operation or a compatible auger attachment. The resulting access and discharge height depend on the bin, collar, auger, and installation layout.
45-Degree Collar Setup
A 45-degree collar provides a steeper mounting angle for its matching valve and optional auger components. Compare the complete arrangement with your available space and desired discharge point rather than selecting an angle on discharge-height claims alone.
Opening Dimensions and Fit
The listed inside dimensions of the rectangular section that fits over the collar are 10 7/8 inches × 6 7/8 inches. Confirm the collar configuration and mounting fit as well as the opening dimensions; an opening measurement alone does not establish compatibility.

Choosing the Correct Replacement Slide Valve
Use the photos to compare the white slide valve with your existing assembly. Installation photos show how the valve connects between the collar and optional unloading equipment; those additional components are not included with the valve.
Check the Collar Before Ordering
Identify whether your collar is horizontal, 30-degree, or 45-degree, then select the matching valve. Compare the opening and mounting arrangement as well as the angle. If the existing part is damaged or its configuration is unclear, send Barn World photos and measurements for help checking the replacement.
Plan for Manual Filling or an Auger
For manual dispensing, check that your bucket or other container fits beneath the completed assembly and that you can reach the slide. For an auger setup, check the fit of the collar, valve, and auger boot together. The collar angle and complete auger arrangement determine the discharge position.
What the Photos Show
The white valve assembly is the item offered on this page. The slide can be operated directly without the older metal handle shown in some photos. A travel stop helps retain the slide in its frame, but the valve has no locking mechanism.
