These large, 20-pound flaps ship in an 8" x 8" x 48" box with UPS and are difficult to ship individually. We can fit (2) flaps in a single box for much more economical shipping rates, and WE RECOMMEND ORDERING (2) to minimize shipping costs.
This single 41" replacement mineral feeder flap is for the Sioux Steel Ground Mineral Feeder. It is 3/8 inches thick and has been upgraded with a new pin and extra discs to protect the main flap from tearing to increase its longevity. The kit includes the new pin (which fits both the older style and the newer style feeders), the 41" replacement flap, as well as two new protective discs that mount above and below the main flap. Each flap weighs approximately 20 pounds.

Flap Washers (included)
These extra-thick rubber washers are the key to maximizing the longevity of the flap. As cattle open the flap feed, the lid gets bent backward in a repetitive motion. These flaps help prevent creases from being created over an extended period of use.
They help absorb the folding motion and spread it out to prevent necessary wear along a single line or area. The kit includes a large and an even larger washer that works together to help dissipate the repetitive force placed on the flap.
