Galvanized Hay Feeder
A galvanized round bale feeder is perfect for feeding large herds in the pasture, outside, in the harshest of Mother Nature's seasons. This particular S-Bar hay feeder is designed for feeding round bales to your roughest cattle in an 'unsupervised environment'. The 8' diameter gives enough room for your large hay bales, and the galvanized finish provides protection against rust and the elements. The strong frame is built with 1-3/4" round steel tubing for extra solid strength, and its traditional 3-piece bale design is built to minimize shipping costs while still providing the necessary toughness to stand up to heavy use in the field.

Cattle Hay Feeder Video
This three-piece s-bar galvanized cattle hay feeder is 8 feet in diameter and is perfect for feeding round bales to cattle and younger calves. The unique s-bar design prevents calves from getting inside the feeder where they would otherwise get stuck and trample uneaten hay. The feeder is made with 1-3/4” round, high tensile strength steel tubing, and the galvanized finish will make this feeder last longer and put up with more abuse than your traditional smaller steel feeder.
The three-piece construction makes it easy to assemble and the most economical to ship.
One tip for a longer-lasting hay bale feeder is to keep as much hay inside the feeder as possible so the cattle aren’t constantly pushing against the unit. Check out our flexible and collapsing cattle hay feeder by clicking here.
It’s also a good idea to have one feeder for every 8 to 10 head of cattle to provide a safer and less competitive eating environment for your entire herd. You may see Barn World's entire selection of cattle hay feeders by clicking here.
