The cattle guard wing posts support the powder-coated steel triangular sections, known as cattle guard wings, keeping them upright to prevent livestock from bypassing the barrier by walking around the fence line to the grid connection. The posts are sold in pairs and are built to support the cattle guard wings.
These cattle guard wing posts are designed to support the matching wings in an upright position, creating a physical barrier that helps prevent cows and other livestock from walking around the end of the fence where it meets the cattle guard.
Each cattle guard wing post weighs approximately 35 pounds and is designed for use with flat top pipe cattle guards. The posts work with the matching wing assemblies to create a secure transition between the fencing and cattle crossing, helping improve livestock containment.
