Mineral Feeder Hood
This is only the hood section for the Sioux Steel Upright Mineral Feeder. Other parts for this feeder are available by special order, as shown in the diagram and parts list below.
This large hood ships on a pallet, and we can fit up to (5) on a single pallet for the most economical shipping rates. Shipping in small quantities can be challenging to do so economically.
Features of the Upright Mineral Feeder
- The beveled hood opening is 28” x 24” - big cattle, even horned cattle, feed easily.
- The top of the tub is 23” from the ground when mounted on the stand, so calves can gain easy access.
- The Aerodynamic hood and wind vane aid in the directional control.
- When mounted, the tub swings 360 degrees on the stand to protect the minerals from the elements
