High-Velocity Drying for Dog Grooming

The Master Blaster dog dryer uses two motors to move water out of a wet coat with high-velocity airflow. It is designed for hands-on grooming, with a flexible hose that lets you direct air around the dog while the dryer sits beside your workspace. Choose the standard two-speed model or variable-speed control to suit your grooming routine.

Airflow does the drying work without a separate heating element. Motor operation warms the air, so “no heating element” does not mean the air stays cold. Drying time varies with coat type, moisture, technique and the selected airflow setting.

Choose Two-Speed or Variable-Speed Control

Standard On/Off, MB-3: the standard option uses two-speed operation for a straightforward choice of airflow settings.

Variable Speed, MB-3V: adjustable control gives you more flexibility to change airflow during a grooming session. This is the variable-speed option in the product selector above. Both versions share the same listed motor ratings, housing, hose length and electrical requirements.

Dryer Features and Included Attachments

  • Steel housing: a matte black enclosure for the twin-motor unit.
  • Reach around the grooming station: a 10-foot hose lets you move the nozzle around the coat.
  • Attachment choices: the included blower nozzle, crevice tool, air flare and adapter provide different ways to direct the airflow.
  • Grounded power connection: the 12-foot cord provides reach from a suitable outlet to the dryer.

The wall mount shown in the photos is an optional accessory. It is not part of the listed standard attachment package.

Planning Your Grooming Workspace

Before choosing a location, allow room for the dryer body, hose and your movement around the dog. Compare the 22 × 10 × 7-inch unit size with the space beside your grooming table or wash area. Keep access to the controls and air openings clear rather than placing the dryer in a tight, enclosed space.

The listed 18-amp draw matters when planning power. Use a properly grounded 120-volt supply suitable for the equipment and follow the electrical instructions supplied with the unit. The dryer should be kept on a dry surface, protected from rain and stored indoors.

Routine Care and Product Questions

Does it use a separate heater?

No. The dryer relies on moving air, with warmth produced by motor operation. Adjust airflow for the grooming task and monitor the dog's comfort throughout use.

How should the filter be maintained?

Unplug the dryer before maintenance. Keep the filter and air openings free of accumulated hair and debris. If the filter is rinsed, let it dry completely before reinstalling it. Follow the supplied instructions for inspection and replacement intervals.

Which model should I select?

Choose the standard model for two-speed operation or the variable-speed version when adjustable airflow is your priority. For help comparing the controls or confirming an accessory, contact Barn World before ordering.
