Hog Gate Description
This heavy-duty hog gate is engineered for long-term performance in demanding livestock environments. Built from 2-inch, 16-gauge steel tubing and finished with a durable powder-coated prairie gold finish, this gate is designed to withstand aggressive hogs, harsh weather, and daily farm use without bending or rusting.
Each hog gate includes a patented T-slot latch locking system and a 36-inch securing chain to ensure reliable closure and easy operation when moving or containing pigs. The latch design allows for smooth opening and secure locking, even when handling large groups of hogs.
Standing 38 inches tall, this gate features heavy-duty Z-bar vertical uprights and a reinforced six-bar construction specifically designed to prevent climbing, leaning, or pushing by pigs and sows. Rounded shoulders enhance safety for both livestock and handlers, making this gate ideal for pens, alleyways, and confinement areas.
Important: Gates are approximately 5 inches shorter than the listed length to allow for the addition of hinges, which are sold separately.
