Manual settings offer reliable, consistent warmth, while advanced, automatic systems can manage an entire nursery's heating requirements, ensuring optimal temperatures for healthy growth and energy efficiency.

Heat Pad Controller Description

The Osborne F911 Manual Heat Mat Controller is the perfect solution for customizable warmth in animal nurseries, tailored to the needs of growing animals. Designed to maintain optimal temperatures, it provides a steady, comfortable heat for newborn piglets who start with temperatures around 95°F and transition to approximately 70°F as they mature.

Functioning like a dimmer switch, the F911 controller adjusts the voltage to the heat mat, allowing for precise control that prevents overheating and reduces energy costs. This is particularly important for young animals that can't always move if the mat gets too warm. Osborne recommends pairing this controller with Stanfield heat pads to achieve safe, energy-efficient heat management.

This controller is equipped to handle up to two Stanfield heat pads simultaneously, with two built-in plugs supporting a combined wattage of up to 600W. The control also includes an “off” function, activated by rotating the dial fully to the left, with a red indicator light that turns off when the device is no longer active. This versatile and safe heating solution ensures animal comfort, supporting healthier growth and reducing energy costs.

F911 Heat Mat Controller Operating Instructions

• Plug the F911 controller into a grounded outlet.
• Connect heat pad(s) to the F911 controller.
• Set the dial to 5 or higher to start warming, then adjust to a lower setting if needed.
• Use a surface thermometer to fine-tune the dial until the heat pad reaches the desired temperature.
• WARNING: Maximum capacity is 600 watts.
• Use only with Stanfield Heat Mats. Not waterproof.
