This large, portable evaporative cooler is a swamp cooler designed to cool down 1,200 sq ft!
It has a large 16-gallon reservoir and an optional tank stand that holds 42 gallons. The extra-thick 8" cooling media creates 33% more cooling surface than the industry standard 6" designs.
It also comes with swivel and locking casters and a ground fault cord for additional safety.

Description
This large portable swamp cooler is designed for cooling a large, 1,200 square foot area such as workshops, greenhouses and other large, spaces that have the ability to bring in and exhaust fresh air in a well ventilated space. The unit has an eight inch think cooling media for maximizing evaporation and thus cooling. The large variable speed fan creates a strong air-flow that reaches 2,800 cubic feet per minute!
The stand alone design has a large 16 gallon water reservoir allows for continuous operation for long periods of time. There is also an optional larger 42 gallon tank stand if you need extreme cooling run times. The water pump is protected with an automatic low water shutoff feature to prevent running the pump from running while dry. It also includes a drain plug for draining the reservoir as well as a flush valve for removing the water.
The body is made with UV resistant polyethylene in a rotational mold to ensure no weak or thin areas.
The cooling medium is thicker than the common industry standard of 6" at a 8" wide measurement. It contains cross-corrugated cellulose covered in a thermo-setting resin to help prevent algae growth and provide extra strength for longevity.
It comes standard with a grounded, three-prong plug and uses a standard 12 volt electrical supply and only uses 2.6 amps with a high-efficiency, fully enclosed .5 horse variable speed motor.
The cooler is easy to move on the included lockable catering wheels and only weight 100 pounds total. If the optional stand with the 42 gallon water capacity is used, the total weight is 120 pounds.

The secret to long-lasting and extended performance of an evaporative cooler is the water evaporation pad that's inside the cooler. These pads are designed to absorb and then evaporate water to create cold air. With proper air flow, the thicker the pad, the more cooling is created. This swamp cooler has a very thick 8" pad that's extremely durable and will maximize the cold air coming from the unit.
