Due to its large size and 1,100-pound weight, you will need to provide a mechanical means of unloading upon delivery. Please call, chat below, or email for a quote today!
One Hydraulic Unit for Upright and Tipped Calf Handling
The HiQual Hydraulic Calf Chute works as both a standing chute and a tipping calf table for calves up to 800 pounds. Hydraulic controls operate the headgate, squeeze, tailgate and tilt, giving the handler a dedicated working area for examination, treatment and other calf-care tasks.
Drop-down doors provide access when the calf is standing. When the table is tipped, spring-loaded drop-down and fold-away bars open the working side. Left- and right-hand hydraulic configurations allow the control position to suit your facility layout.

Allow additional working clearance around the equipment, beyond its exterior dimensions. The width with controls extended is particularly important when planning the operator side, nearby gates and transport access.
How the Chute and Tipping Table Work
The scissor-style tailgate controls calf entry from the alley into the chute. The hydraulic headgate and squeeze help position and restrain the animal. For work requiring side access, the entire chute can tilt hydraulically, with access bars opened as appropriate for the task.
The neck extender uses gas-filled struts to maintain tension. Four fold-down doors on the table side provide access in the upright position, while the working-side bars serve the tipped position. These arrangements let the handler choose access suited to the work without treating every job as a full-table procedure.
Use the manufacturer's instructions for setup, restraint, pressure adjustment and release. The equipment assists with handling but does not guarantee an injury-free outcome for the calf or operator.

Hydraulic Power and Setup
The chute includes 25 feet of hydraulic hose for connection to a suitable hydraulic source. A separate power unit is required, and hydraulic fluid is not included. Confirm the power source, hydraulic connections and operating requirements for your selected configuration before use.
Electric power-unit requirements depend on the unit supplied. Confirm its motor nameplate, wiring requirements and installation instructions when ordering rather than relying on a generic voltage or amperage specification for the chute.
The controls fold inward for transport and storage. Before working calves, inspect the hoses, doors, bars and gate operation using the pre-start checks in the calf chute operator's manual.

Planning Delivery and Your Working Area
Arrange mechanical unloading for the chute before delivery. Choose a firm, level operating location with space for the tipping movement, extended controls and handler access. Plan the calf approach and exit around the surrounding alley and gates.
