Victory Farm Gates for Livestock and Ranch Access

The Sioux Steel Victory gate combines a 50-inch height with six horizontal rails and 2-inch round steel tubing. Its rounded top corners, Z-bar uprights and Prairie Gold powder-coated finish make it a practical choice for livestock enclosures and frequently used farm entrances.

Choose a listed length from 4 to 20 feet to suit your opening. The T-slot latch and 36-inch chain are included. Hinges are sold separately. Actual gate lengths are five inches shorter than the listed sizes to allow for the hanging arrangement.

Choosing a Gate for Your Working Area

Consider the livestock being contained, traffic through the opening and the space needed for equipment to pass. A wider gate can make access more convenient, but it also requires adequate swing clearance and a suitable supporting post.

The six-rail layout provides a familiar farm-gate configuration for pasture entrances and livestock facilities. Match rail spacing and gate height to the animals using the enclosure, particularly where young or smaller stock are present. Gate selection should also account for the pressure expected at the opening.

Hanging, Durability and Everyday Use

A Straightforward Hanging Setup Starts with the Right Hardware

Planning the mounting points before lifting the gate makes installation more straightforward. Choose compatible gate hinges and accessories for the 2-inch tubing and your post material. Use the weight table to plan suitable support and handling assistance, especially for the longer gates.

Position the gate with the ground clearance your site requires, then check the full swing and latch alignment. A firmly supported post and properly aligned hinges help the gate open and close without dragging. Recheck the mounting hardware after installation and as part of routine maintenance.

Steel Tubing and Z-Bar Bracing

The 16-gauge tubing forms the rails and frame, while the vertical Z-bar braces support the horizontal members. This combination gives the gate a reinforced structure for repeated opening, closing and livestock use. Construction quality matters most at an entrance that is used every day, where a gate must remain practical to operate as well as contain animals.

Powder-Coated Finish for Outdoor Service

The Prairie Gold powder coating provides a protective finish over the steel. Keeping the gate clear of dragging contact and checking worn or damaged areas helps maintain that protection. Inspect the hinges, latch and chain along with the frame so small maintenance issues can be addressed before they interfere with daily use.

Sioux Steel includes this model in its limited lifetime gate warranty program, subject to the manufacturer's eligibility requirements and exclusions. Coverage concerns the gate's ability to function for its intended purpose; it is not a promise against cosmetic wear or every type of damage.
