Do this by pulling the clamp handle out straight (in a loose or \"unlocked\" position) then, while holding the left nut, turn the handle clockwise until you hit the desired tension (test by pulling the hoof stand (part A) up and lock clamp, making sure it is holding the stand up tightly).
