| QUESTION: Hi, could you tell me if a large square bale will fit in one of the feeders? how much freight tp zip 19426?, thank you
Terry |
| ANSWER: Hello Terry,
Unfortunately a large square bale is just a shade too large. We are working on a design that will accommodate them and will produce them in the future. Shipping can go two ways: to a residential address, like a small ranchette, for $222.33 or to a business, like a working farm or ranch for around $135.99. These shipping charges do not include lift gate services at the delivery site, it entails someone being there and assisting the driver unload the item from the truck. The feeder is shipped in pieces strapped to a pallet so one would be able to remove it quite easily. Thank you. Lisa |

| QUESTION: Hi,
I just had a quick question about your Recycled Rubber & Plastic Panel Round Bale Feeder for Horses & Cattle. Item no. RLI RBF 8 H. I have been using an inside out tractor tire for a while now. I like how it stands up to the weather, but I was looking into getting an actual horse feeder. This is why this model appeals to me. This model clams to not rust, rot, crack or break, but my question is about the livestock access hole sides. They don’t look like they are held up by anything. So to me they look like they may be flimsy & may not take years of being pushed and rubber up against. I don’t believe that they would break or crack, just droop. Thus not serving as a divider. So I guess I was wondering if I should go with this model or stick to a more traditional metal horse feeder? Like item no. SH83HF. Thanks for your help & time. –Leah-
|
| ANSWER: Leah, the round bale feeders are made from rubber and plastic under heat. The material is very tough and we have feeders that have been in use for years. Also the round bale is designed so the livestock cant waste hay while his head is inside. They are hard to judge by a picture, but they are very durable. I believe if you buy one you will be satisifed in construction and the amt. of savings from saved hay. If you need any more questions answered I am here to help. Thanks Charlie |
